Everyone Welcome!

Join us to discuss our preliminary plans for affordable housing at Paisley Place. We’ve been busy with ecological surveys and water testing, and studying how we might build an attractive neighbourhood with 24 dwellings of various sizes there. Tell us what you need! Let’s discuss what’s possible!

MUSIC: BIRCH in Concert @ The Roxy

ADMISSION: $15 at the Door |

In support of our newest album “Vicissitudes” Birch will be playing 3 dates in November.  Fortunately, Gabriola is one of the lucky venues.

Birch is a free-improvisation band from Cumberland, BC that combines influences of folk trance, experimental and psychedelic music. This trio of multi-media musical artists track and nurture elusive structures of sound to create unfolding, collaged explorations into possibilities of sonic cinema. Our trio will become a quartet as we’re joined by our good friend and longtime collaborator Scott Aitken on double bass.

We will have Cd’s and limited lathe cut LP’s for sale!

COMMUNITY EVENT: Vibrational Belonging @ The Netloft

By Donation | Everyone Welcome!

The Gabriola Ecumenical Society presents Vibrational Belonging, healing ourselves, our community, our earth through shared vibrational resonance.

Held the 3rd Sunday of each month from September through June.

Facilitated by Leah Hokanson.

Vibrational Belonging is an open invitation to explore the ancient communal tradition of sound making as a way to celebrate, honour, and invoke what sustains life: as individuals, as a community, and as citizens of our beloved earth. No musical training or singing experience required. If you can hum, sigh, chitter like an eagle, or croak like a raven, you’re qualified. And if silence is more your thing, your focused intention  will help to amplify the vibrational resonance  with one another  and with our sacred environment.
