Raku is an ancient method of firing that creates beautiful effects on ceramic pots by exposing them to fire, smoke, and ash. You will learn to form clay to create a vessel, apply raku glazes and then fire your pot in a wood-fired outdoor kiln. Suitable for beginners or advanced students. This workshop has 2 groups attending 3 sessions each: Making (2 Hrs), Glazing Drop-In (1 Hr), and Firing (1 Hr). Classes are: August 25, 28, 29. Please register for either Group A or Group B.
